After obtaining a Master's degree in Neuroscience at the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes in 2015, Prany completed her Ph.D. at the Neuropsychology and Imaging of Human Memory laboratory in Caen in 2019 under the supervision of Francis Eustache and Bérengère Guillery-Girard. Her Ph.D. work explored autobiographical memory (ABM) in adolescents with autism spectrum disorders, with an experimental approach and the implementation of cognitive remediation focused on this memory. She also studied the resting-state brain function in electroencephalography (EEG) of adolescents with autism, using a source localization and functional connectivity approach.
After her Ph.D., Prany joined the LaPsyDÉ, where she continued her exploration of ABM by focusing on the capacities of self-projection through time (ABM of the past and ABM directed towards the future) and self-projection towards others (theory of mind). In parallel, she is working with Mathieu Cassotti on the ANR project APPrentissage, LEAdership et Créativité to better understand the brain mechanisms involved in generating creative ideas through an EEG approach.
