After obtaining a Bachelor Degree in Psychology in 2019 (University of Havana), Yanet has been working as a researcher at the Neurodevelopment Department of the Cuban Neurosciences Center (CNEURO), focusing on the cognitive and numerical basic processes related to Math acquisition. Yanet obtained a Master Degree in Educational Psychology (University of Havana) in 2022 and, at the same time, she started her PhD at LaPsyDÉ Laboratory under the supervision of Pr. Nancy Estévez (CNEURO) and the co-supervision of Pr. Grégoire Borst (LaPsyDÉ). Her PhD project focuses on comparing the predictive power of behavioral measures and topographic and topologic properties of complex brain networks over academic achievement in Mathematics.
